Role Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Executive to join our growing Birmingham team.
This role focuses on identifying, developing, and securing new business opportunities while building strong, long-term client relationships. You will play a key role in driving company growth through lead generation, account management, and delivering outstanding customer engagement.
This opportunity is ideal for a proactive professional with excellent communication skills and a strong understanding of business development strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities.
- Generate leads through market research, networking, outbound calls, emails, and meetings.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients.
- Manage client accounts to ensure high satisfaction and retention.
- Prepare and deliver professional sales presentations and tailored proposals.
- Negotiate contracts and close deals to achieve and exceed revenue targets.
- Conduct market analysis to identify trends, competitors, and growth opportunities.
- Maintain accurate sales records and forecasts using CRM systems.
- Collaborate with technical and delivery teams for smooth client onboarding.
- Produce performance reports and contribute to business strategy planning.
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in Business Development, Sales, or Account Management.
- Strong lead generation and new business development expertise.
- Solid understanding of business strategy, sales techniques, and market analysis.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed targets in a performance-driven environment.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (preferred but not essential).
