Role Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Executive to join our growing Birmingham team.

This role focuses on identifying, developing, and securing new business opportunities while building strong, long-term client relationships. You will play a key role in driving company growth through lead generation, account management, and delivering outstanding customer engagement.

This opportunity is ideal for a proactive professional with excellent communication skills and a strong understanding of business development strategies.


Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities.
  • Generate leads through market research, networking, outbound calls, emails, and meetings.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients.
  • Manage client accounts to ensure high satisfaction and retention.
  • Prepare and deliver professional sales presentations and tailored proposals.
  • Negotiate contracts and close deals to achieve and exceed revenue targets.
  • Conduct market analysis to identify trends, competitors, and growth opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate sales records and forecasts using CRM systems.
  • Collaborate with technical and delivery teams for smooth client onboarding.
  • Produce performance reports and contribute to business strategy planning.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience in Business Development, Sales, or Account Management.
  • Strong lead generation and new business development expertise.
  • Solid understanding of business strategy, sales techniques, and market analysis.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed targets in a performance-driven environment.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (preferred but not essential).

  • Competitive salary: £34,000 – £38,000 per annum.
